This ITSM ServiceNow Installation and Configuration for Snow Atlas course will take you through the steps required to setup the ITSM ServiceNow Connector for Snow Atlas.

This technical course will dive deeper into the concept behind the solution, how the data flows and how to configure the connectors within ServiceNow and then on the Snow side to complete the integration.

Who Should Attend?

This course is aimed at anybody that is looking to improve their understanding of the ITSM ServiceNow Connector, perhaps to better position the solution to customers. It also serves as a guide for a Technical Consultant to use to configure the product itself, in which case it is assumed that you have an existing knowledge of the Snow Atlas basics and are familiar with the Snow Extender and the Snow Integration Manager.

What will I learn?

• Introduction & Pre-Requisites: An introduction to the ITSM ServiceNow Connector, what it does and how it works. How third-party data, such as the data from Snow, gets written to ServiceNow.
• Guided Setups: The Guided Setups within ServiceNow are essentially wizards that take you through each vital step of the connector configuration.

• Snow Configuration: Once the ServiceNow platform is ready, it is necessary to create the “SLM API” account within the Snow Extender and configure the Snow Integration Manager Catalog and CMDB Connectors.
• Aggregation & Review: Once the setup is complete, this section will show you how to aggregate and verify the data from Snow in ServiceNow.

By the end of the course, you will be able to

Apply the learnings from this course to projects, identifying the different components and stages of how the data flows from Snow into ServiceNow. Configuring the relevant Snow applications and ServiceNow portal, checking the systems are running and validating the data has transferred over to ServiceNow.
